Thalapathy K. Vinayakam Matriculation School

       Our School was started in June 1995 for educating the rural mass. The school is located in the heart of Tiruttani Town in a spacious and peaceful surrounding.

          

                      Thalapathy K. Vinayakam, M.A., B.L., L.T., F.R.E.S. (London) a well known leader who fought bravely and successfully to bring back Tiruttani, from Andhra to Tamil Nadu. Hence he was given the title “ Thanigai Meeta Thalapathy”. He was a great scholar and a popular dignitary who was elected as a member of legislative assembly and rendered notable service to the public. In order to honor the treat social reformer, the institution was named after him.

TKVM Higher Secondary School is a self – financed institution approved by Directorate of Matriculation Schools and managed by Thalapathy K. Vinayakam Educational Trust.


                       The Trust Comprises a team of highly respected and recognized people dedicated to create an institution imparting quality education. Within a short span of time, the school has emerged as one of the best school in Tiruttani region.

Infra Structure:-

              

                     The Building was aesthetically designed campus has ultra modern facilities with spacious class rooms, Separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, well stocked library and a vast play ground.

Labs:

                   The School has set up four independent spacious laboratories Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science. The labs are spacious enough to accommodate 50 students at a time.

Library:-

                   

                   The School has a spacious, stylishly furnished library which can accommodate more than 60 students at a time. It has nearly three thousand books on various subjects. Students from classes I To XII are members of the library. Students may borrow books from the library.

Smart Class:-

                

                   One of the unique facilities that the school offers is teaching Smart Classes. We started smart class in the year 2013 March. Electronic Media is used in the best manner possible to encourage learning through visual as well as audio media. Presently, the school has 15 smart class rooms into which all the classes from LKG to XII Students see the animated display of almost all the topics of all subjects. This makes learning an enjoyable experiences for students while improving their overall performance in School.

Sports and Games:-

              

                   A creative mind in a healthy body. Physical Education classes are an integral part of the activities and sufficient time is allocated for sports in the academic schedule. It also help the formation of character by teaching the virtue of discipline and punctuality. The students have achieved distinction in several competitions in zonal and district level. The most important of all the events held on the campus is the ‘’ Annual Sports Meet . On the Annual sports day, a number of traditional track and field events are organized.

Transport Facilities:-

               

                Our School provides multiple transportation options for Students. We provide transportation for students in and around surrounding areas. Depending on where our students reside, we recommended specific bus routes to provide the best school transportation options. At present the school runs several buses for fetching students from surrounding villages. We have a transport co – ordinator that can be reached by phone at all times and also have attendant escort on the bus. Each bus is equipped with a phone. Parents are encouraged to contact the transport coordinator at his mobile number. Bus timings / routes may periodically change in order to reduce travel time or to accommodate new students.

Unique Teaching Method:-

               

                 The School earnestly endeavours to lay proper foundation for students to pursue academic excellence, which in turn will help to take them on the path of national glory.

Faculty conducts examinations at regular intervals. The performance of the students in every examination is carefully analyzed and individual academic records are maintained throughout their stay here. Special classes are conducted for selected students to help them overcome their weakness and bring them to the main stream through individual attention.

Parents are an integral part of the institution and regular communication is sent to them through SMS, regarding the progress of the students from time to time.

Admission procedure:-

               

                Our School has established itself as one of the top schools in the town of Tiruttani. Our school believes in grooming children from a young age & keeping this in mind we accept admission from KG’s to XI Stds.

Procedures:-

                

              For fresh admissions, the following records are to be submitted:

·         Community Certificate

Pupils coming from other schools should submit:

·         Transfer Certificate

·         Conduct Certificate

·         Final Examination Marksheet

·         Emis No

For admission or withdrawal, only the parents should accompany the children.

Admission  Timings:-

Application forms will be issued in the month of April & May. Mon – Fri: 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m.

Co-Curricular Activity:-

                

               The aim of Co-curricular activities is to make the students fit for the future time and to develop a sense of competitive spirit, co – operation, leadership, diligence, punctuality and team – spirit as well as to provide a back drop for the development of their creative talents.

Yoga:-

                We teach our students yoga to help them develop better body awareness, selfcontrol, flexibility and co – ordination. It is compulsory for all the students from I to XII.

Art & Craft:-

                Various activities done at each level. The effort put in by children as well as their creativity is regularly show cased through regular displays throughout the school campus.

Spoken English:-

                As English has emerged as a global communication language, special attention is given to help the students acquire excellent communication skills and there by develop their personality.

Karadi Path:-

                Presently, our school has started karadi path education for the pedagogy students. Classes from L.K.G to II Students are actively participating in this program. It accelerates a child’s English language proficiency at the very start of their schooling.

Tae kwon Do

                

                 Tae kwon Do is a harmonious combination of art and sport, defence and discipline. A way of living. A martial art that not only develops mind and body however stimulates a response towards being a strong individual. Taekwondo is a self defence practiced without the use of weapons. Taekwondo rejuvenates ones mind and body and inculcates a healthy life style. Being recognized worldwide, this sport and self defence in practiced by millions of people world wide. Taekwondo has also been recognized at the OLYMPICS as a medal event since the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Fruit Day – Pre – Primary Section:-

                Fruit day was celebrated in the Pre – Primary Section as a part of our annual activities. A few chosen children came dressed as various fruits. They were very well prepared. Children were asked to recognize the fruits and their colours. The participants also spoke a few words on the fruit they were dressed as. The children were asked to bring fruits for their tiffin. It was a lovely experience for all the children.
